There are 10 sections with 17 lessons and 9 section exercises for you to practice what you've learned. Treat the course as you would a Summer Intensive at a university or high school.
We are excited to include Gilbert Morris' material with this course. Combined with some thoughts from Steve Laube, you should have everything you need to build the foundation for your novel.
Gilbert Morris (who passed away in Februrary 2016) was the author of more than 100 novels in his career including the bestselling "House of Winslow" series for Bethany House. His book on fiction has been in print since 1994 and is now published by The Christian Writers Institute. But by taking this course you receive the text of that book in addition to lessons written by Steve Laube.
Through this course you will learn how to develop plots, create intriguing characters, design vivid settings, and write effective dialogue.
